Wow! It is so hard to believe that November is half over already and Thanksgiving is almost here! We are on our last letters and will soon be starting to work our letter sounds together to read new words. This is so exciting and the kiddos can hardly wait to begin this new skill. We will also begin our study of sight words soon, so be on the look out for these as well. The students are going to come home xcited and throwing a lot of new information at you, so you can't say I didn't warn you, ;) lol! Along the lines of Thanksgiving being just around the corner (next Thursday to be exact, it's that close!), I am anxious to see how your child and family chose to "HIDE TOM THE TURKEY" so he won't be eaten for Thanksgiving...we've had 2 projects come in so far, I can't wait to see the rest as they are turned in by the due date - Monday, November 19, 2018. Also, don't forget that the November book orders are due Monday, November 19, 2018 as well. If you would like to purchase books to give your child as a Christmas present, please send me a note and I will gladly do my best to get them to you "secretly". Grandparents Day is Wednesday, November 21, 2018. The schedule for the morning, and room assignment, were sent home with your oldest and only child today along with two invitations to invite Grandparents/Favorite People. We can't wait to see and meet each family. The interaction of the children and Grandparents/Favorite People just warms my heart <3. |
