Our first week of school went really well! The students are quickly learning our new routine and enjoyed themselves as we work our way through the newness of Kindergarten. We finished with a scavenger hunt through the important parts of our school building set up for us by Pete The Cat. We had so much fun figuring out the clues of where to go next :)! We have begun our ABC Bootcamp - a unit on the 26 letters focusing on the name of each letter and the sounds each letter makes. We will also be learning how to write each letter correctly. This will lead us into sounds and putting those sounds together into words! We are also working hard to review and learn our numbers which will build our counting skills. It is neat to see the children so excited to begin their journey of learning! |
