This week in Kindergarten, we will continue to assess the students on the 2nd set of sight words. I have few that we will assess the 1st set with hopefully for the last time. We will continue to practice sounding out and blending together new words to strengthen our reading skills. The children are using thier word building skills wonderfully, and are becoming better readers each day. We had a lot of fun last Friday as we counted Lucky Charm Marshmallows and then graphed them for Math to celebrate St. Patrick's Day. We will continue to work on Addition and sutraction skills in Math from now until the end of the school year. In Religion, we are continuing to discuss the importance of prayer and being a good friend. We are working hard to learn about how to be a good friend and how good friends treat one another.
