Welcome to Kindergarten - School Year 2019-2020!

Welcome to the beginning of an exciting school year!  We have had a GREAT first week back to school and are working hard to get adjusted to our new routine :).  The kindergartners are all quickly learning how to become better listeners and friends to one another as well.  We will start our year with a quick (26 days approximately) review of the letters and the sounds that they make.  We will also begin learning about our numbers.  The big thing I will be focusing on is how to write both the letters and numbers correctly with each of the students.  As we learn the sounds of each letter, we will then move on to putting those sounds together to start forming and reading words.  I am so excited to watch each of the children you have trusted me with grow and learn this year!

Just a Reminder:  Please try your best to attend the State of the School Address with Dr. Gilligan and the teachers on Wednesday, August 21st at 6:30 in the School Chapel.  I will also have packets for you that will detail everything we will be doing this school year as well as go over more specifics and be available to answer any questions you may have at that time :).

Have a GREAT weekend!!
