Dear Parent(s),
Hope you all had a great weekend!  Sorry I couldn't post on Friday, I was working the aftercare program.  Can't believe we have only one full week before Easter!
The following our the topics we are covering this week.

Religion:  We are still doing different activities for the Lenten Season.  We will again be attending Stations of the Cross on Friday at 2:00.  If you are free you are more than welcome to join us.

Math:  We are covering two and three digit numbers using adding and subtracting of fractions.  We will also be comparing ordinary numbers.

Spelling:  This weeks words follow the double consonant pattern with the y at the end.

English:  We have been reviewing for our English test this Wednesday.  The children appear to be very ready for their test.  They have been bringing their book home for days.  I also showed them other pages in Unit 6 that might be helpful as far as extra types of sentences.

Reading:  This week we are reading a Fantasy story entitled Amos and Boris.  This story is about two mammals who become friends.  With this story they will be journal of  the adventure of the two friends, and how valuable friendship is regardless of the size of that friend.  Great story about morals as well.

Have a great weekend and stay dry!
