Dear Parent(s),
     Field Day was a success today, could have been a little warmer but the children seemed to have a great time.  Special thanks to our 8th graders who planned all the activities and our 7th graders who were in charge of the groups as they moved from one activity to another.  Please remember this is a short week due to the Parish Picnic,the children's last day this week is Wednesday.  
The following are the topics we will be covering this week:

Spelling:  The children will begin this week with a test on Monday due to Field Day falling on a Friday.  Our last weeks words for this year will follow the pattern of suffixes ly, ness, and ful.  The words are careful, beautiful, wonderful, really, finally, sadness, happiness, helpful, graceful, sadly, lively, happily, kindness, sickness.

English:  The children are working on funny folktales plays to perform to other classes the last week of school.

Math:The week we will be dividing by six and seven. his past week was the end of math attack for the year.  The grade will be based off 

Reading:  We will be finishing up our story this week " Judy Moody saves the world.  The children will start the test on Wednesday this week.  

Religion: This week we will be taking about the Sacrament of service to others.  Holy Orders, and Matrimony.  We will take our last test over chapter 15 on Monday after our parish picnic.  As always it will be an open book test.  The children will bring the books home on Tuesday to prepare. 

Science: We will be covering simple machines.
